Frametec is locally owned and operated. We detail, manufacture and deliver light gauge steel wall frames and roof trusses from one site at Darling Downs.
Thirty years of the same trade
Steel framing is not a sideline for us. It is the whole business, and it has been since 1996.
Builders come back to Frametec because the frames are right and the detail is sorted early. Owner-builders come back because someone took the time to explain the drawings. Both get the same factory and the same phone number.
The business runs on repeat work, which means the job has to be right the first time.
How it works

Plans
Send architectural and structural drawings as PDF, DWG or images. We check what we have and ask for anything missing.

Detailing
We model the frame in Tekla and Vertex, resolve the junctions and document bracing and openings.

Quote
A price from the drawings, with the scope written down so you can compare it properly.

Manufacture
The frame is rolled from TRUECORE steel in our factory, cut to length and assembled there.

Delivery
Bundles are labelled by wall and level and delivered to site. Delivery area confirm with client
Inside the factory
Roll forming, assembly and dispatch all happen at 568 South Western Highway. Being under one roof is what makes the detail hold.

We are always interested in speaking to installation subcontractors and experienced frame hands around Perth.
Frametec manufactures and delivers the frames. Installation is carried out by builders and their own crews, and we keep a list of installers we can point people to.
