Light steel fabrication, cut to your drawings

Not every job fits a stud and a truss. Frametec rolls and fabricates custom light steel sections, brackets and framing for the details that need something made to suit.

Made in the same factory as the frames

Fabrication work runs on the same roll formers, the same tooling and the same drawings as our framing packages. That means a bracket that fits the frame it is bolting to.

If it can be formed from light gauge steel, we will look at it. Send the detail, a sketch or a drawing and we will tell you what is possible.

Where fabrication work turns up

Fabrication is usually the piece that holds the rest of the job together. It is also the piece that gets left to the last minute.

  • 01

    Awkward junctions

Where a frame meets structural steel, masonry or an existing wall, a made-to-suit section is often the cleanest answer.

  • 02

    Feature details

Shadow lines, bulkheads, raked ceilings and unusual openings that need a section that does not come off the shelf.

  • 03

    Commercial fit out

Framing and support members for shopfronts, ceilings and services where the set out is tight.

Confirm with clientMaterial thickness, finish and tolerances are confirmed against your drawings.

Send us the detail

A drawing, a marked up sketch or a photo of the junction is enough to start. We will tell you what can be made.
